Using an anthology of games she's collected through her research on folk games and working at summer camps, Emily runs folk games workshops at events, festivals, and universities. Her workshops have been hosted around the world, including NowPlayThis, The Overkill Festival. & boshi's place.

Folk game workshops consist of a curated selection of games based on the goals of the event which are then facilitated by Emily for the participants. These workshops serve to build trust and intimacy among the play community and develop folk game literacy for the players.
